Progressive Distributors

Progressive distributors are a useful component for central lubrication systems and high-performance lubricators. The lubricant is delivered into 2 to 8 outlets and is distributed evenly through the piston strokes.
The piston stroke delivers 0.09 cm³ or 0.2 cm³ of lubricant per outlet. The pistons in the distributor move in cycles under the pressure of the incoming lubricant. One reciprocal motion of the stem corresponds to a complete cycle of the distributor.
Only when one cycle is completely finished will the next cycle be started. It therefore does not matter whether the lubricant supply is intermittent or continuous as all lines get the same quantity of grease.
