AGS Central Lubrication Systems

AGS Vario Central Lubrication Plant

The AGS Vario Central Lubrication plant is an efficient and durable system that sets a new benchmark.  The  compact Vario (1.2 kg) is especially suited for both mobile and stationary applications. It is designed as a multi-line system, capable of variable output dosages through different pump elements that are selected according to the specific lubrication point.

Different sized outlets, capable of taking 5 different size pump elements, supply up to 8 lubrication points directly. Simultaneously, another 2 pump elements can deliver lubricant to a progressive distributor. Examples of this are shown in the photo to the right and at the bottom of this page.

The unit is available with 2 distinct control options: Control "Z" is 24 V DC, has a lubricating time of 1 to 16 minutes, with the time between cycles at 30 minutes to 8 hours. Control "T" is also 24 V DC, has a lubricating time of 2 to 32 minutes, with the time between cycles at 30 minutes to 8 hours.

This central lube system has a modular design and can be used for all mobile applications e.g. heavy load vehicles, trucks, construction equipment, agriculture machinery, etc.

AGS Vario-Plus Central Lubrication Plants

For larger jobs there are the Vario-Plus electrically driven Central Lubrication plants. These larger systems have a grease capacity of  4 or 8 liters, and  either 3 or 21 independent discharge points. Each lube point requires its own pump element. Close-ups of the outlets and pump elements are in the photo below.

The best model for your needs depends on the operating conditions set out in the table below. Progressive distributors can also be attached (see photo below).

The supply pressure of either 200 bar or 280 bar allows the use of normal commercial grease or oil up to NLGI Class 2. These  Central Lubricating Plants can also be externally controlled, e.g. using an IPC or by an optional AGS timer.

Features include:

  • Transparent container allows visual monitoring of grease level

  • Tank volume of 4 liters (1.06 gallons), expandable to 8 lt

  • Programmable control system available

  • Pressure up to 280 bar / 4060 psi

  • Precise lubrication dosage

  • Adjustable delivery rates

  • Continuous, constant pressure

AGS Magnetic Pump

This is the answer when you need a central lube system but you have no room. The magnetic pump is a compact, electro-magnetic pump with an aluminum piston. The container is made of shock-resistant plastic that is transparent to allow visual level control.

During the suction phase, the pistons slide back due to spring force. The negative pressure generated draws the lubricant out of the container.

The unit comes with a single outlet. With the addition of a progressive distributor, the number of outlets can be increased up to 8.

Output quantity varies from 0.005 to 0.05 ml per stroke, depending on the pump element (PE5 to PE50 - see above chart).

The filling port is easy to access, and has a dust guard and venting.
